Description

This program will explore sexual and reproductive health in Cystic Fibrosis.  This program will consist of a 90-minute webinar.

Who Should Attend

This activity is intended for cystic fibrosis providers, reproductive health providers, primary care physicians (family practice physicians, internal medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, PAs), mental health providers, social workers, psychologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers.

Objectives

After participating in this activity, the learner will demonstrate the ability to:

  • Explain the importance of sexual and reproductive health for those with CF
  • Discuss how sexual and reproductive health issues are not always addressed by CF providers and why this is especially important for pediatric providers
  • Describe the importance of patient education regarding sexual and reproductive health for those with CF

Course Format – Method Of Participation

This live material is expected to take approximately 1.5 hours to complete. Once the activity is completed, participants must pass the post-test and complete the evaluation with attestation to receive CME credit.

A post-test will be conducted at the conclusion of the activity. No minimum grade is needed to receive CME credit.
